Who Is LSR

LSR/AFCS is a national, non-profit corporation with no political affiliations. We are legal professionals (judges, professors, lawyers, law librarians, secretaries and students) concerned about:

	The continuing risk posed by the 35,000 nuclear weapons world wide.
	The death or injuries caused due to the antipersonnel landmines.
	The use of weapons to solve conflicts.

We believe in the force of law rather than the law of force: law should be a tool for peace and conflict resolution. We believe that our special skills and knowledge can contribute to international peace, justice and security.

We are affiliated with the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms (IALANA) located in the Hague, The Netherlands. http://www.ialana.org
